Today our new roof was being treated to the first part of the process to make it waterproof. More roofing to come, but this will help when the weather returns to it's normal self.

As the song says, there was a fire in the sky

In other developments, we now have a lot of concrete down.

It must’ve been so exciting to see the extension slowly come together over time! It’s amazing that work on the roof continued, even when the weather wasn’t exactly ideal for roofing jobs. Maybe it was a good way to test that everything you were doing to keep it protected would work, hahaha! Here’s hoping that the roof has withstood bad weather since it was completed!

Proofing your roof is one way to protect it against the snow and the rain. It’s helpful in a way that it extends the the roof’s lifespan and helps it to endure the erratic weather. Well, your photo depicts that the weather wasn’t good when you were still working on the project, but I’m glad that you still pursued proofing.
